Elektro-Trad EP 1 is the first release from INUTI.

The opener is a traditional folk psalm, joined with an original tune, a take on two staples of scandinavian traditional music: the herding call mode, and the 3-beat dance with a short one. Next are three traditional fiddle tunes, from Skåne, Dalarna, and Setesdal respectively. In each case, the traditional tunes are surrounded by an electronic sound environment, with influences ranging from experimental techno to jungle and drum'n'bass.

The central idea of the INUTI project is that neither the traditional tunes nor the electronics should have their nuances compromised when combined with the other. This approach permeates every track; nothing is in the common 12-equal tuning, and nothing is in even 4/4 time. Everything is dynamically arranged, with bespoke sound design for each track.
